The things that I value most from working with her is the elimination of the shame and stigma associated with over eating and a recognition that food is a vital part of my life that should be enjoyed. She has coupled that with the knowledge of how to eat “mindfully” and actually taste the food that I am eating.
While working with her I was able to lose weight but even more than that I was able to lose the burden of feeling like a failure with food choices every day and balance my life around food so that it no longer controls me.
I am a Registered Dietitian with a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Like you, I found myself lost in a sea of contradictory and confusing ideas of what it means to be healthy. As a result, I spent my life sorting through the mess.
Unlike most of who and what is already out there, I’m not here to tell you I have the answer. That just adds to the confusion.
My countless hours of research and study along with over a decade of experience counseling and coaching in the field of nutrition have taught me exactly the opposite. I don’t have the answer. YOU do! You are the expert of you. My role is to help you discover that.
I help you navigate through the mayhem of information you’ve been previously exposed to; to discover the tools you have within you; and apply those tools to make peace with food.
I don’t teach diets. I don’t even teach lifestyle changes. I teach you how to stop this dieting and food-centric cycle that takes up so much time and attention.

Kristen has gone above and beyond in taking the time to work with me and teaching me how to make life changes. I have been working with Kristen for over a year now.
